Maria Shriver No Makeup: 57-Year-Old Sports Swimsuit, Goes Au Naturel In Hawaii (PHOTOS)

Maria Shriver looked flawless as she went makeup-free while vacationing in Hawaii with her family on March 29.

Joined by her kids Katherine and Patrick Schwarzenegger and Patrick's girlfriend Taylor Burns, Shriver was seen building a sand castle before taking a walk along the water's edge, sporting a black zip-up swimsuit and sheer cover up.

The 57-year-old appeared happier than ever following her divorce from her husband of 25 years, Arnold Schwarzenegger, after his admission he fathered a child with the family housekeeper in 2011.

North Korea Missile Plan Targets Washington, Los Angeles, Austin and Hawaii

austin may be weird but this guy's crazyThe United States sent two
nuclear-capable B-2 bombers to the Korean Peninsula
yesterday
in response to North Korea shutting down the military
hotline with South Korea on
Wednesday
. Today, North Korea responded
by announcing it was preparing a missile strike plan against the
United States. A photo (at right)
released
by the North Korean newspaper Rodang
appears to identify Washington, DC, California, Austin, Texas
and Hawaii as targets. Leon Panetta, then the U.S. Secretary of
Defense, said
last April
that America was “within an inch of war” with North
Korea and had to be careful about what it says and does that might
escalate the situation. Tensions have been rising since North
Korea’s latest round of missile tests began
last December
. Earlier this month the totalitarian regime
declared the Korean War armistice signed nearly sixty years ago

null and void
, something it had most recently done in 2009, and
six times since 1994.

The White House, for its part, responded today by saying the
U.S.
would not be intimidated and can defend itself and its allies
.
However, as Ron Paul noted
earlier this week
, some U.S. actions, like the public military
exercises and the push at the UN for new sanctions are helping
exacerbate the situation. North Korea has just one real ally on the
planet, China, and even that is barely so. Its reactions to tension
over the last few months have been to tell North Korea, or North
Korea and South Korea, as the case may be, to
simmer down
. Russia’s foreign minister, meanwhile, warned today
of a “vicious circle” that could
spiral out of control
. That’s highly unlikely. Instead, North
Korea’s saber-rattling, and the Western response to it, fulfills
the need Kim Jong Un has for attention and for an external enemy to
use as a scapegoat for the self-inflicted decades-long tragedy that
is North Korean society.

War on Cameras, Rock Star Edition: "Steven Tyler Act" Dies in Hawaii

Aerosmith frontman and rehab
enthusiast Steven Tyler has a house on Maui. Not so long ago, Tyler
pushed Hawaii lawmakers to craft a celebrity privacy bill that,
unsurprisingly gathered support from other publicity hounds who
always want to be in the news except when they don't.

Foxnews.com has the dish:

Tyler, who owns a multimillion dollar home on Maui,
earlier said he asked Sen. Kalani English, from Maui, to introduce
the bill after someone photographed him with his girlfriend at his
home in December.

Along with Tyler, rock legend Mick Fleetwood, who has restaurant
in McKelvey's district, personally appeared to urge lawmakers to
pass the bill. Their appearance generated buzz in the state
Capitol, as staffers snapped cellphone pictures of the stars and
compared them in the hallways after the hearing.

Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne and several other high-profile
celebrities also submitted written testimony in favor of the
bill.

Alas, for Tyler and his rag-tag band of citizen activists, the
bill is unlikely to pass, which means that such folks - despite
their god-like status on stages around the world - will be treated
kinda sorta like the rest of us. If only First Amendment rights
weren't so important that they apply even to paparazzi! And, of
course, to citizens
photographing the cops
. Thank god that we live a nation of
laws, not moobs.

In 2010, Reason TV, with the help of C-SPAN's Brian Lamb, asked
the terrifying-yet-urgen question: "Why have cameras been in Katie
Couric's colon but not the Supreme Court?" The answer may surprise
you.
